Germany Ambassador Her Excellency Anke Reiffenstuel arrived at NWU, and was met by the executives of Northwestern University, led by university president Atty. Ferdinand S. Nicolas. This is for the signing of the Deeds of Donation, and the ribbon-cutting and official opening of the German set-up Nursing Skills Laboratory.
NWU, UKB and GIZ entered into a Memorandum of Agreement last July 8, 2020 for the training of BS Nursing students preparing them for deployment in Germany.
The program is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Health (BMG) and included the donation of electric hospital beds and nursing skills mannequins for a European-standard simulation ward.
