PFSN leads Praise and Worship

It was a moment of gratitude!

University President Atty. Ferdinand S. Nicolas led the Praise and Worship Service during the Opening Program of Northwestern University’s 88th Foundation Anniversary, morning of January 29, 2020. He was joined by his wife, Mrs. Michelle Therese D. Nicolas, along with the Saguday Chorale and Sardam Singers. With the After 6 and After 5 bands accompanying, they led the crowd in singing upbeat songs such as “Lord, You are Good” and “All about You” by Israel Houghton, and a mellow “Thank You, Lord” by Don Moen.

The president beautifully opened and closed the celebration with a prayer and imparted the importance of “Rejoicing in Gratitude,” stressing how one can be grateful amidst life obstacles. “When we see with eyes of faith, we will see God’s blessing upon us also,” he underscored.

Within the service, representatives from different sectors also lifted up their petitions.

NWU Administrators, employees, students and Open House visitors from different high schools in the province attended the program.
