NWU produces new board passers for 2021-2022

Northwestern University gave rise to 119 new professionals in the following board examinations conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) for the year 2021 and the first quarter of 2022.

The Nursing Department achieved a back-to-back high board passing rating, exceeding the national rating of both July and November 2021. With 22 newly registered nurses for the July 2021 Nursing Licensure Exam (NLE), it attained an 85.71% passing rate over the 64.65% national passing rate. For the November 2021 NLE, with 27 newly registered nurses, the department reached a 72.50% overall passing rate, beating the 51.45% national passing rate.

Meanwhile, the university’s College of Criminal Justice Education garnered an overall passing rate of 43.12% in the December 2021 Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE) with 47 board passers. Daniel Joshua Lagansua Sarabia, with a rating of 88.60%, claimed the 9th spot among 11,610 passers.

The College of Engineering and Architecture Technology produced 8 passers of the Registered Master Electrician Licensure Examinations (RMLE) in September 2021, 2 passers of the Civil Engineering Licensure Examination in November 2021, and 1 board passer of the Architect Licensure Examination in January 2022.

Seven students from the College of Maritime Education passed the Marina Licensure Examination in November 2021, and 5 students from the Department of Medical Technology passed the January 2022 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination.

Additionally, the Department of Medical Technology produced 6 Board passers of the Registered Medical Technology (RMT) in March 2022. Cindy Mae F. Utleg claimed the 7th spot among 1, 268 passers.
