NWU Law students intern at the Office of the Solicitor General
Northwestern University Law students interned at the Office of the Solicitor General from June to August 2022.
The Legal Internship Program of the Office of the Solicitor General is a 7-week intensive and hands-on legal experience from the top government lawyers of the country.
From 198 applicants from all the law schools in the country, only 60 were admitted and 52 graduated.
NWU was represented by Miss Precious Camille Bucad and George Emman Manuel, incoming 4th year Juris Doctor students.
The Office of the Solicitor General represents the Philippine government, its agencies and instrumentalities and its officials and agents in any litigation, proceeding, investigation or matter requiring the services of a lawyer.
“We experienced handling cases for the state and made pleadings, comments, briefs, and attended CA and SC,” Mr. Manuel said.
