Northwestern University celebrates 87th Foundation Week.

Northwestern University celebrates its 87th Foundation Anniversary on January 24-26, and on February 2, 2019 with the theme, “New Beginnings”.

The celebration will begin on the 24th of January with a Diana around the city, followed by a Worship and Opening Program, 8 AM, at the Student Center. Cyber Games: Mobile Legends tournament will also be conducted from 9 AM to 4 PM simultaneously with the Open House. In the afternoon, High School Rock (Inter High School Battle of the Bands) will be held at 1 PM, and the Preliminary Competition for Mr. and Ms. University 2019 will start at 3 PM.

On the January 25, the university will be having its Employees’ Day at NWU Campus, and in the evening, a Concert at the Park and Service Awards will be conducted at the Freedom Park, at 6 PM and 7 PM, respectively. Also, the Students Day will be held during the same day, with events catered to the NWU students.

On January 26, the main pageant for the Mr. and Ms. University 2019 will commence in the evening.
On February 2, the day which is given by the city government as our night in the Pamulinawen Festival 2019, Foundation Week activities resume. Kinnugtaran 2019, Parade around the city, and NWU’s Drumline (Inter high school drumline competition) will take place.

Schedules for Educational Forum, Research Colloquium, Alumni Night, Parade and Review are yet to be announced.
