We are glad to have you a part of this family! As you begin your academic career, you are embarking on a path full of promise and hope. Walk the campus, ask questions, meet faculty and staff, and learn all you can about your university. We have committed faculty and caring staff, a beautiful campus and an atmosphere conducive to your academic goals.
I encourage you to reach out to your professors, advisors, Dean of Student Affairs Office as well as Department Coordinators, and Student Services professionals to help you build the best path forward in your studies and professional development. Do explore student government and student activities as there are many exciting possibilities to enhance your life here at Northwestern University.
Now that you are a registered student, I urge you to familiarize yourself with the diverse and vibrant activities that are offered here. This Student Handbook is designed as reference for you to make the most of your college experience. Contained in this guide are expectations that we have of you as a student, and the key policies and procedures that you are required to know and observe. It is your responsibility to take the time to review the contents of this handbook.
